Work Permits
In order to recruit international individuals from outside the EU, you as the
recruiter need to obtain their work permits. First you must make sure that
the individual meets the correct skills/qualification criteria in order
for you to legally do so. Such criteria may be at minimum 3 years' experience in using specialist skills
acquired through doing the job-type for which the permit is required. This
should be at NVQ* level 3 or above (or SVQ* level 3 or above).
UK NRP regularly assists companies (and agencies working on the behalf of
the companies) to benchmark occupational qualification against these criteria.
