Part One GNVQs
Part
One GNVQs differ subtly from Foundation and Intermediate GNVQs.
The target age group are 14-16 year-olds at school. Additionally,
unlike Foundation and Intermediate GNVQs, Part One GNVQs cover a
similar level of content to two GCSEs and are therefore half the
size of their namesakes. They are available in seven subjects:

Art and Design
· Business
· Engineering
· Health and Social Care
· Information and Communication Technology
· Leisure and Tourism
· Manufacturing
These qualifications are now being phased
out and replaced by Vocational
GCSEs.
